About this Product
Badam pisin (बादाम पिसिन, பாதாம் பிசின், also called almond gum, badam gond or badam gondh) is the natural gum of the almond tree, in amber crystals.
Badam pisin in English is "almond gum". Soaked overnight it swells into a soft, clear jelly: the summer-drink favourite of South India, from Madurai jigarthanda to rose milk and nannari sharbat.
How to enjoy: Soak 1-2 small pieces overnight in water (they swell many times), then add the jelly to jigarthanda, rose milk, sharbat, falooda or kheer.
