How We Create New Flavours
Creating a new flavoured dry fruit isn't just mixing ingredients. It's a process that takes 4-8 weeks from idea to shelf. Here's how it works at Pala-G:
Step 1: Ideation. Ideas come from three sources: community votes (like the ones above), direct customer suggestions via WhatsApp, and our R&D team's research into global snacking trends. We track what flavour profiles are trending in international markets โ from Japanese matcha to Mexican chilli-lime โ and adapt them for Indian taste preferences.
Step 2: R&D and Testing. Every flavour goes through 10-20 recipe iterations. We test different coating thicknesses, flavour intensities, and base nut combinations. Our Tiramisu Almonds, for example, went through 14 versions before we found the perfect balance of coffee bitterness and cocoa sweetness.
Step 3: Quality and Compliance. Every ingredient is FSSAI-compliant. We test for allergens, shelf life, moisture content, and flavour stability at different temperatures. Only formulations that pass all quality checks move to production.
Step 4: Small Batch Launch. New flavours launch as limited runs โ typically 500-1,000 packs. We collect customer feedback through reviews and WhatsApp messages. If the response is strong (and it usually is), the flavour becomes a permanent addition to our 280+ collection.
This is why Pala-G has the world's largest collection of flavoured dry fruits. We don't just sell dry fruits โ we innovate in a category that nobody else is seriously investing in. Every flavour you see on our shelves earned its place through this process.
