Makhana (Fox Nuts) Export from India
Looking for makhana exporters in India? Pala-G India exports makhana (fox nuts / Euryale ferox) as plain roasted Premium Makhana and six flavoured makhana: Peri Peri, Cheese (Butter Cheese), Cream & Onion, Black Pepper, Pudina and Salted — in our Pala-G packs or packed for your brand. Chocolate, Tandoori or Butter Masala makhana are not in our range today; ask us for the closest flavour.
Why export makhana from Pala-G? India produces over 90% of the world's makhana, mainly in Bihar's Mithila region (Mithila makhana). Global demand for fox nuts is growing as a roasted, light snack. Importers often ask whether makhana is rich in protein and how many calories it has: plain makhana has about 9.7 g protein and 347 kcal per 100 g, and each flavoured pack carries its own nutrition label.
